Privacy Policy

This English version is provided for convenience. Where it covers the same matter as the Japanese version and the two differ, the Japanese version prevails. Sections that appear only in this English version (including those for visitors in the EEA, UK, Switzerland and California) apply in addition to the Japanese version.

What we collect

We do not ask you to register or submit personal information to take a quiz. Your answers and results are processed only in your browser. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand site usage (pages viewed, quiz starts and completions, share button clicks, approximate location, device and browser information) and Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies. We load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address. The English pages of this site do not show ads.

Legal basis and consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland)

For visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, analytics and advertising storage is set to “denied” by default. We do not currently offer a consent banner, so these cookies are not set for you; Google Analytics may still receive limited cookieless measurements (such as page views). A consent tool will be added before any personalized ads are shown in these regions. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies and is used on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding site usage.

Retention

Google Analytics data is retained for 2 months (the Google Analytics default), after which it is deleted automatically.

Third parties and international transfers

Data is processed by Google LLC and Cloudflare, Inc. Transfers to these companies in the United States rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct (rectification), delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data, to receive it in a portable format, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Do Not Track

This site does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
